After a long hiatus due to COVID-19 and the loss of our event space, we’re super pumped to get our largest event of the year back on track: Bull-O-Ween!

Let’s get together to celebrate cooler weather, the onset of fall and Halloween… Bulldog style.

Bring your well-behaved, leashed, vaccinated four-legged friends and family members (they don’t need to be leashed) to the 2023 Bull-O-Ween and help raise much needed funds for Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue.

The evening will include various costume contests and an amazing silent auction.

This year will mark 21 years of the Oktoberfest celebration hosted by Southlake’s Chamber of Commerce! Over 100,000 people visit throughout the weekend festival! Attendance is completely free — there are no admissions or parking fees. There will, however, be a wide range of food, beverages, and booth items available for sale! Come take a stroll in Southlake’s beautiful Town Square while looking at the unique, handcrafted arts and crafts booths. Great food and live entertainment are also at your fingertips during this fun-filled event.

Christmas

Check their calendar because there are certain times that dogs are allowed to visit Santa. We enjoyed having Lady’s picture taken with Santa. I will say it was a long wait and the lighting wasn’t the best, but everyone was kind and friendly.

This town is always celebrating something and dogs are always welcome! Be sure to check their town calendar for more upcoming Christmas activities on the square and maybe we’ll see you there!

This cute Christmas Tree farm is located south of Ft. Worth in Cleburne, TX. If you have kids, then you might be able to spend all day there. The food was alright, but the drinks and desserts were amazing! Definitely lots of photo ops!

The Celina, TX square is decorated so beautifully that it’s perfect for a day time photoshoot or even an evening one when the lights turn on. Be sure to check their on the square calendar so you are not trying to do a photoshoot during one of their events. Or maybe do your photoshoot earlier and eat dinner at one of the dog friendly restaurants on the square then attend their event.

Keep a lookout on their website or Instagram and make sure you come on the day they do the Tamale festival. Their were native dancers in the streets dancing to drums. Lots of local tamale vendors, plus several other Christmassy crafts and foods in The Shed area where dogs are allowed. This weekend also had lots of fresh Christmas trees and Santa Paws pictures.

The Grandscape is located in The Colony, Texas. We went the evening of their Santa Paws even. The event was low key and perfect for us! You can find more information about the event in the video caption. There are several dog friendly patio restaurants in Grandscape. A few of our favorites are Parry’s and Barley & Board. We love Baked Bear for ice cream treats, but dogs are not allowed inside the store

This Instagram worthy dog friendly event is located inside the Dallas Galleria Mall. You can purchase a separate ticket to each place or a combo ticket to experience it all. Santaland was a fun “train ride” to the North Pole where we got out and wondered through a tree forest before finding Santa’s House. This is where we had our own private encounter with Santa. We took as many pictures as we wanted. We left through his closet and entered Snowdays. Snowdays was our favorite! Lots of well decorated hallways lead to several perfectly designed rooms for all of your instagramable picture needs! Each room had a different theme that brought out fun and creativity in our family. Everyone wanted to get in on the picture fun. The dogs were happy, the kids loved it, and the parents weren’t stressed out so we give it five stars!

Do you have a reactive dog or dog that just doesn’t like crowds of people? This might be the perfect Christmas activity for you!
